Send a draft

email.draft.send

POST/api/v1/households/{household_id}/commands/email.draft.send

  • Command
  • Rigel asks first
  • Waits for the server

Sends the draft to its recipients: this reaches people outside the household, so a person must say yes first. Marks it sending; it goes out within moments and then becomes sent, or failed with a problem. Only a draft or failed draft can be sent. Fails with draft_not_found, draft_not_editable, no_address (no address to send from), no_recipients (nobody in To or Cc), domain_not_ready (the address's custom domain can't send yet) or rate_limited (the household has sent 20 emails in the last hour or 100 in the last day; details.retry_at says when to try again).

For Rigel#

Rigel's tool for this command is email_draft_send. Rigel shows the person what it will do and waits for a yes before running this, because it can't be fixed afterward or it reaches outside the household. The agent guide has the rest.

Rigel is in early access, and sign-up is by invitation. Open Rigel
