Adds a place such as a room, a floor or the yard, inside the property's root place unless parent_id says where. The parent's property is used when property_id is left out.

Parameters#

Add a place: parameters
Field	Description
`household_id`pathstringrequired	The household's ID.
`Idempotency-Key`headerstringoptional	The command's ID. Reuse it when retrying the same command.

Add a place: request body fields
Field	Description
`property_id`stringoptional	Which property. Leave it out when the household has one property (it's made on first use); with several, give it, or the command is rejected with property_required.
`name`stringrequired	The place's name: "Basement", "Primary bath", "Back yard". at most 120 characters
`parent_id`stringoptional	The place it is inside. Leave it out for directly inside the house.

Response#

200 The command was applied.

Add a place: response fields

`version`integerrequired	The household version after the command.

Errors#

Every error has the same envelope: error.code, error.message, error.details, error.recovery and error.request_id.

Status	Code	When
`400`	`validation_failed`	A field is missing, misspelled or out of range. details.fields lists each problem.
`401`	`unauthenticated`	The request has no valid session.
`404`	`location_not_found`	A parent that isn't there.
`404`	`property_not_found`	A property that isn't there.
`404`	`not_found`	The household doesn't exist, or you aren't a member of it.
`409`	`property_required`	Several properties and none named.
`409`	`different_property`	A parent at another property.
`409`	`idempotency_key_reused`	The Idempotency-Key was already used for a different command.
