Notifications

Tell people something happened, read and mark notifications, mute an app, and save this browser's push subscription.

Commands

  • PostUnmute an app for menotifications.mute.clearLets notifications from the app through again.
  • PostMute an app for menotifications.mute.setStops notifications from an app being recorded for me, until the given time or until I unmute it.
  • PostMark some of my notifications readnotifications.notification.readMarks the listed notifications read.
  • PostMark all my notifications readnotifications.notification.read_allMarks every due notification of mine read, or only those from one app.
  • PostNotify peoplenotifications.notification.sendRecords one notification for each listed person who has an account, so they see it in Rigel and get a push on their devices.

Queries

  • GetThe apps I've mutednotifications.mute.listThe apps I've muted and until when (null means until I unmute it).
  • GetMy notificationsnotifications.notification.listMy notifications that are due, newest first, with how many of all of mine are unread.

Routes

  • GetGet the web push public keypush.configThe server's VAPID public key, to pass to pushManager.subscribe as applicationServerKey. public_key is null when push isn't set up on this server; notifications are still recorded and shown in the app, and the device toggle should say so.
  • PutSave this browser's push subscriptionme.push_subscription.putSaves the browser's web push subscription for your current session, replacing any subscription with the same endpoint (even one saved by another account or session on this browser).
  • DeleteRemove this browser's push subscriptionme.push_subscription.deleteRemoves your push subscription with this endpoint.
