Records one time the recipe was made, with the servings made and how it went if known.

Parameters#

Record that a recipe was cooked: parameters
Field	Description
`household_id`pathstringrequired	The household's ID.
`Idempotency-Key`headerstringoptional	The command's ID. Reuse it when retrying the same command.

Request body#

Record that a recipe was cooked: request body fields
Field	Description
`recipe_id`stringrequired	A recipe ID, such as rcp_01JC0000000000000000000000.
`cooked_on`string (date)required	A calendar date, YYYY-MM-DD.
`servings`integerrequired	How many servings were made, a whole number from 1 to 1,000. A double batch of a 4-serving recipe is 8. 1 to 1,000
`note`string or nulloptional	How the cook went, as written, at most 1,000 characters: "Kids picked out the beans. We loved it." at most 1,000 characters
`cooked_by_person_id`string or nulloptional	Who cooked it. Defaults to the person asking, when they have a person in the family.
`meal_id`string or nulloptional	The planned meal it was cooked for, from the meal plan.

Response#

200 The command was applied.

Record that a recipe was cooked: response fields

Errors#

Every error has the same envelope: error.code, error.message, error.details, error.recovery and error.request_id.

`400`	`validation_failed`	A field is missing, misspelled or out of range. details.fields lists each problem.
`401`	`unauthenticated`	The request has no valid session.
`404`	`meal_not_found`	A meal that isn't on the plan.
`404`	`person_not_found`	A person who isn't there.
`404`	`recipe_not_found`	A recipe that isn't there.
`404`	`not_found`	The household doesn't exist, or you aren't a member of it.
`409`	`idempotency_key_reused`	The Idempotency-Key was already used for a different command.

These are real. Each scenario is one of the command's test cases, run on a household when this site was built, and the response is what the API returned.
